About

It started on my sofa with a single bracelet, a quiet way to keep a brain full of “what now?” busy. The bracelets sold surprisingly well, despite my complete lack of a business plan, and years later I still spot them on strangers’ wrists. (Long story. Another time.)
But making the same piece over and over wasn’t for me, so I moved on to silversmithing. I loved it, but my joints had opinions. Then I needed a workbench, found them expensive enough to make me pick up a saw instead, and built one myself. That’s how woodworking happened. Upholstery followed, because someone has to finish what the woodwork starts, so I went back to school across the border to do it properly.
Looking back, the signs were always there: I’d been coming home from second-hand shops with old tools and forgotten objects for years. I believe in giving good craftsmanship a second life, and I seem to have a nose for treasure that other people walk past.
When I’m not in the workshop, you’ll find me in the garden, in the kitchen, knitting, or on the padel court.
I can’t keep everything I rescue (my house has limits, my projects don’t), so some pieces find new homes here and help fund the next rescue.
